This is one of four (4) Java/J2EE Openings we currently have.
Under the direction of a Team Lead or Manager, the Java Developer will participate in the analysis, design, programming, implementation, and support of applications and technical infrastructure.
Current positions are for developing NEW applications and integrating with some legacy systems.
Responsibilities will include:
- Analysis, design, coding, testing, and support of complex systems and enhancements to meet end user needs.
- Develop a strong understanding of the function of all systems that interface with the assigned application in order to effectively support and improve the ongoing architecture of related applications.
- Plan, organize, document, coordinate, and schedule all work in the development of assigned tasks.

Required Skills:
You must be a U.S. Citizen or a Green Card holder
You must be able to pass a drug test/screening
You must be able to pass a Federal Security Background check
- 5 years of Java Development
- 5 years of J2EE Development
- Experience in applications programming using a defined systems development methodology (5+ years)
- Strong knowledge of object oriented concepts and patterns and architectures
- Experience developing on IBM WebSphere application server platform (3+ years)
- Experience developing using J2EE standards including EJB's, STRUTS, and Taglibs (3+ Years)
- Experience integrating Oracle Database with Java development including object relational mapping (3+ years)
- Experience doing business analysis and requirements gathering for complex business systems (3+ years)
- Ability to pass a Federal Background Check
Experience with the following a plus:
- Developing application using WebSphere Portal is preferred
- WebSphere MQ
